Jack Mader has a unique vision and diverse photographic style. He uses his camera to document his visual experience and loves to share that experience with others. Jack and his wife, Kris, who is also an artist, share a studio and live in Minneapolis.
Jack founded, developed, chaired and taught in the Photography and Digital Imaging program at Minneapolis College for 25 years and retired from that position in 2016 to devote more time to his family and personal work.
Jack is also the co-coordinator of The Homewood Photo Collective, a group of Twin Cities based photographers providing each other  with creative and technical support through critiques, feedback and camaraderie.
